Panel discussion: assessing the energy revolution – the next challenges. New opportunities?
Generating the majority of electricity using photovoltaic systems and wind power is no longer the future – it is the present. We are currently in the middle of the energy revolution. But to help protect our environment more effectively, we need more wind farms and a better electricity network.
Furthermore, we also need to design a more sustainable transport system and heating supply, which also presents the opportunity to sink energy prices in the long-term, to improve air quality and improve the local economy. This panel discussion will be assessing the progress of the energy revolution, looking at what still needs to be done and how individuals can play a part.
