With its motto "Intelligent Systems for a Sustainable Society", the University of Stuttgart has already acknowledged the fundamental importance of sustainability for the future of society. The aspiration of an “emphatic commitment to sustainable development" is also anchored in the university's mission statement as one of seven strategic goals. And it is against this backdrop that numerous projects have been created at the University of Stuttgart, including the mobility laboratory MobiLab: Mobility Living Lab, and the development of the Green Office with a Mobility Manager.
The University of Stuttgart is delighted to have the opportunity to introduce its thirteen English language international study programs that deal with the topic of sustainability at the virtual student market “Virtual Market – Focusing Sustainability” on September 23 from 9 a.m.- 11 a.m. and from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. These study programs have a broad scope, covering a wide range of research areas – such as the design of future living spaces, the development of new, environmentally compatible materials, our handling of waste and water resources, or the key topic of "Green IT".
Prospective international students will have the opportunity to ask questions via chat and video and to download information about the university’s study programs and special offers for international students, both at the university's "outdoor" stand - which can be reached by boarding a virtual train - and during the university talks.
The University of Stuttgart’s advisory team is looking forward to answering all questions. The team comprises six members, including the study program managers and course directors for international study programs, as well as the Senior Advisor International Affairs.
