How can the topics of diversity, democracy and freedom can be implemented in a game? From 3 May 11 a.m. to 4 May 8 p.m., programmers, game designers, graphic designers and students will be developing the first prototypes and game ideas about Europe, as part of the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film.
In preparation for the Game Jam, Dr. Felix Heidenreich will be considering various models of democracy in GameZone Talk. The Heinrich Böll Foundation will also be presenting its new simulation game “Einleben” at 2.30 p.m., which brings to life the subject of social origins for high school lessons.
Students who are interested in taking part in the Hackathon are asked to sign up online.
This event is part of “Hack for Europe – Game Jam at the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film” (3-4.05.2019 at Kunstgebäude Stuttgart).
Organized by the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film in cooperation with the University of Stuttgart’s IZKT.
