Time

Water is paramount to survival for humans on earth. Most of us take water for granted. It is only when there is too much, or too little water, that we suddenly recognize its importance. The lecture will focus on the water cycle and the development and incidence of floods and droughts in Germany and across the world, in conjunction with climate change.
