Conference: A smooth start to studying – orientation, qualifications, support

This event is hosted by MINT College Baden-Württemberg, a cooperative education project run by the University of Stuttgart and the Karlsruher Institute of Technology (KIT).

This conference is endorsed by the Ministry for Science Research and Art Baden-Württemberg and will focus on the content-related and structural design of the introductory study phase, with a view to the long-term improvement of academic success. Minister of Science Theresia Bauer will open the conference with a welcome speech. An introductory key note speech will be delivered by Prof. Horst Hippler, President of the German Rectors’ Conference (HRK).

Target group
This conference is aimed at the university administration and deans, professors and teachers of all subjects, project managers (e.g. for the projects “Fonds Erfolgreich Studieren in Baden-Württemberg”, and “Qualitätspakt Lehre”) and employees from the Student Counselling Center and study orientation programs, as well as related projects and initiatives in the field of education and any other interested parties from the university sector. School teachers are also welcome.
