This symposium is dedicated to the meaning, manifestation and implementation of construction methods for the built environment that are sustainable in terms of both climate and culture. With contributions from a range of perspectives, the event will illuminate this important topic and offer motivation for an interdisciplinary exchange of knowledge and ideas.
For example, Prof. Jörn Birkmann from the University of Stuttgart will be speaking about climate change and the consequences of this on the (built) environment and Prof. Schew-Ram Mehra from the University of Stuttgart will be focusing on climate and culturally sustainable construction in the context of urban building physics.
This event is organized by the Institute for Acoustics and Building Physics at the University of Stuttgart, in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics IBP and the Technical University of Munich.
Please register for this event by 30 September, either by email or using this form.
