Find out more about the production and assembly of microelectronic circuits and systems. At Hahn-Schickard, we will be showing your applications from the field of microsystems technology, such as optical microsystems and spatial electronics. In addition, we will also be taking you to visit our system-in-foil laboratory for the production of foil-based systems and ultra-thin flexible microsystems. After the visit, we will walk to the Institute for Microelectronics Stuttgart together (approximately a 10-minute walk). There, a window tour in the cleanroom building will provide you with fascinating insights into the technologies and processes used to manufacture microelectronic circuits and fabricate extremely precise optical nanostructures. These are required for the production of 5- and 3-nanometer processes. The event will conclude with a presentation of assembly processes in packaging and joining technology for microchips.

From 1:30 p.m. – meet at Hahn-Schickard, Allmandring 9B

2 p.m. – Hahn-Schickard: Applications for Microsystems technology and the system-in-foil laboratory

3:30 p.m. – Institute for Microelectronics Stuttgart: Window tour of cleanrooms and presentation of assembly and joining technology for microchips

5 p.m. – end of the event, organized by: Hahn-Schickard, Institute of Microassembly Technology and IMS CHIPS Institute for Microelectronics Stuttgart.
