Chancellor Anna Steiger and Professor Michael-Jörg Oesterle, Vice Rector for Teaching and Continuing Education, welcomed 21 University of Stuttgart employees to the International Meeting Center to honor their 25- and 40-year service anniversaries.

“It gives me great pleasure to see how many long-serving and committed employees feel such a strong connection to the university,” said Chancellor Steiger. “On behalf of the University of Stuttgart and the State of Baden-Württemberg, I would like to sincerely thank you today for your dedication and loyalty.”

Professor Oesterle also expressed his appreciation to the honorees. He emphasized the importance of their work not only for the university, but for society as a whole, and thanked them both in his role as Vice Rector and as a citizen of the State of Baden-Württemberg.

The celebration provided an opportunity for employees to reflect together on their many years of service and to celebrate their lasting connection to the University of Stuttgart.
