The Conference of European Schools for Advanced Engineering Education and Research (CESAER) is the leading network of technical universities in Europe. It promotes excellence in research, teaching, and innovation and represents the interests of its members at the European level in order to strengthen the role of technical universities in science and society and to highlight their contributions to science, technology, and sustainable development.

“I am delighted that my new role will enable me to further strengthen my commitment to CESAER”, says Simone Rehm. “I will continue to advocate for openness and the preservation of digital sovereignty and academic freedom, also in line with the TU9 principles.”
