Confirmation of the strategic direction
“The University of Stuttgart combines academic excellence with the ambition to develop solutions to the major challenges of our time. I am delighted that we have once again achieved strong results in the latest edition of the QS World University Rankings, particularly in terms of our research performance and sustainability. This confirms that our strategic direction is the right one and reflects the outstanding work of our researchers,” says Prof. Manfred Bischoff, Vice Rector for Research and Sustainability at the University of Stuttgart.
For this year’s rankings, the British company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) evaluated 8,808 universities worldwide and included approximately 1,500 of these in the ranking list. With a ranking of 318th, the University of Stuttgart is among the top 21% of the institutions included in the ranking. Among the approximately 8,800 institutions assessed by QS, it ranks within the top 4% worldwide.
The main factors contributing to this result are the strong international visibility of research and the commitment to sustainability at the University of Stuttgart.
