Since its opening in 2022, the Makerspace in the Universum on Campus Vaihingen has developed into a vibrant space for experimentation and learning – featuring projects, courses, and teaching collaborations that bring together students, researchers, and staff from the University of Stuttgart and partner universities of the Professional School of Education (PSE). The 11,111th visit is not only an impressive milestone but also symbolizes the steadily growing interest in creative, interdisciplinary, and hands-on work with modern technologies.

The team led by Sannah König celebrates the 11,111th visitor at the Makerspace.

In addition to exciting projects and courses, technical and spatial improvements have also been made: New walls, renovations, and an additional laser cutter enhance the space. A particular highlight is that the Makerspace now offers recycling injection molding – a great addition for anyone looking to create prototypes and projects using this innovative technology.

The Makerspace team extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey – to our dedicated making community, our partners, and all those who bring the Makerspace to life. The team is looking forward to the next 11,111 visits, filled with ideas, projects, and innovation.
