The Bachelor’s in sports science study program is a broadly conceived foundational education that builds on, expands, and deepens knowledge acquired in high school. It introduces students to sports-scientific work, reflection, and judgment.
Students occupy themselves with pedagogical, psychological, sociological and biomedical contents from sports and exercise sciences as well as with the effects of physical activity on the body’s functional efficiency. They learn how to label the linkages between physical activity, regeneration, and adaptation, how to identify and influence them. With the help of the methodological fundamentals of scientific work, they can analyze and evaluate empirical findings.
