The Intercultural Mentoring Program will officially start with the tandem in the first week of classes. If you need support before that (picking up from the airport, help with formalities etc.) than the uni mates program is the right one for you. Please indicate your interest in the question below, we will send you more information afterwards.

Description of data
An uncoded email in clear text will be generated from the information you provide in the contact form, and will be sent to the Intercultural Mentoringprogram, which is located within the International Office of the University of Stuttgart. Fields marked with a * (first name, surname, e-mail and phone number) are required in order to contact you and provide you with all important information regarding the Intercultural Mentoringprogram. The other fields related to your stay in Germany and your studies are necessary to facilitate and improve our matching between mentee and mentor. In addition to your entries in the form fields, the date and time will be recorded in the generated email.

Purpose
The registration form enables you to register for the Intercultural Mentoringprogram, which is located within the International Office of the University of Stuttgart. 

Legal basis
The legal basis is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter e) GDPR together with Article 6 Paragraph 3 GDPR and § 4 of the State Data Protection Act (Landesdatenschutzgesetz). 

Recipients
Your message is received by the employees in charge of the Intercultural Mentoringprogram of the International Office of the University of Stuttgart. After a successful registration and participation, participation lists including first name and surname are generated and forwarded to the third-party financing institution, Qualikiss. When you register for the uni mates program, your information will be passed on to the responsible program coordinator.

Storage duration
The personal data you enter in the registration form will be processed solely for the purpose stated and will be deleted after five years. After five years all related data will be deleted. 

Consequences of non-provision, right of objection and correction
The use of the form is voluntary. If you do not wish to use the registration form, you can also get in touch with the Intercultural Mentoring Program of International Office of the University of Stuttgart personally during our opening hours. You are free to provide your name and email address in the form of a pseudonym when entering data, which means that the University cannot assign the information to a person. Should you not wish for your identity to be disclosed, it may then be the case that your matter cannot be processed.

You have the right to receive information from the university concerning the data saved in relation to your person and/or to have incorrectly saved data corrected. In addition, you have the right to deletion or to have the processing restricted or to object to the processing. For this purpose, please contact the International Office at the University of Stuttgart. Please note that in case of the deletion of data, optimal support may not be guaranteed.
