My skills

Architects and Urban Planners need the following skills:

  • Creative and spatial thinking – Spatial awareness, aesthetic sensibility, and creative ideas are key prerequisites for designing buildings and cities.
  • Technical and practical understanding – A fundamental technical understanding is important in order to make planning designs feasible. Combining drawing skills and practial skills will help you create plans and models.
  • Teamwork and communication skills – Architects and urban planners often work in an interdisciplinary manner, e.g., with civil engineers. Good cooperation is therefore essential
