Karl Schlecht, founder of Putzmeister AG, Aichtal, it is the first university chair for wind energy in Germany. As a rule, chairs are endowed for extended periods with a capital contribution by the donor, possibly for 10 years or longer. After this time, arranging for follow-on financing is at the university’s discretion.
