Task Profile
 

The Senate decides on matters of research, teaching and studying, providing these are not otherwise allocated to another central body by law or the faculties. The Senate is particularly responsible for establishing, changing and cancelling study courses and university facilities and for the decisions on fundamental questions of research and the funding of young scientists as well as the transfer of technology. The Senate selects the part-time members of the Rector’s office and confirms the election of the full-time members of the Rector’s office.
