An Introduction to the Student Counselling Center
What we do and who we are
The Student Counselling Center (ZSB) provides information and counselling to all students of the Universität Stuttgart and everybody interested in studying at the Universität Stuttgart. We offer information and guidance for all prospective and current students about questions concerning administrative issues, the study programs, academic processes and procedures. Our team supports you in issues concerning individual studies, choice of study program and other general questions concerning studying.
In our Contact Hours we answer general questions, give brief information and hand out forms and information material. We also answer enquiries by phone, mail and e-mail. For more intensive personal counselling and in depth information, please make an appointment with the counselor, responsible for the subject your question relates to. We also offer group information sessions about the study programs at the Universität Stuttgart and on issues such as professional perspectives and decision-making.
In English we offer detailed information about application and enrolment for degree-seeking students, we describe the study programs and available degrees at our university and inform about studying for a doctoral degree. Our printed information material is mostly in German.
The primary contact for international students is the Office of International Affairs. It gives advice for international applicants and students and co-ordinates the university's international relations.
All questions about application and admission can be answered at the Admissions Office.
