Technology Management M.Sc.
The German industry demands increasingly for engineers skilled not only in technical knowledge
but also in economic knowledge. In conversation with human resources managers, the impression is
given that the pure expert from the past years will be replaced by the interdisciplinary qualified
engineer orientated on future business. Not only in the industry but also in scientific
universities and non-university research institutions those are needed.
The master's program is based on the professional and methodological competence of the
bachelor's degree course. It combines a sound knowledge of engineering with business administration
competence. Beside the engineering specialisation modules, an individual economic as well as an
engineering main focus is set in the specialisation subjects. In addition to the technical
knowledge, the graduates of the study course have knowledge in essential management areas. They
have the ability to analyse, create and evaluate economic coherence from an engineering point of
view.
Upon successful completion of this program, students will be awarded a Master of Science and
will be entitled to continue to study towards a doctoral degree.
