Aerospace Engineering B.Sc.
The Aerospace Engineering degree course is a consecutive B.Sc./M.Sc. program. It aims to train prospective engineers to master the increasing challenges in the field of aerospace engineering in an innovative and interdisciplinary manner.
The 6 semesters of the Bachelor’s program provide comprehensive and fundamental knowledge complemented by diversified and state-of-the-art content. The students are trained to work both in teams and independently, thus enabling them to fulfil a wide range of demanding tasks. The students must collect 180 credit points during the Bachelor’s program. The credit points are distributed among relevant modules for Aerospace Engineering, key qualifications, a mandatory internship and the Bachelor’s thesis. The modules include basic skills modules imparting fundamental methodological knowledge, core modules containing lectures on engineering competence and complementary modules for the acquisition of application-oriented skills. An 8-week first mandatory internship should preferably be completed prior to the beginning of the course. During the 6th semester a minimum 12-week second mandatory internship in industry must be completed.
The Master’s degree course will be offered each semester starting from the winter term 2012/13.
