Mentoring Programme for Women in Science and Research

Welcome to the Mentoring Programme!

Mentoring is an effective instrument of career promotion within the context of a sustainable personnel development. Since 2003 the aim of the Mentoring Programme of Stuttgart University is to support and accompany outstanding women in science and research on their career path. The Mentoring Programme of Stuttgart University establishes the contact between young female scientists and experienced mentors from the fields of science and economy. This individual support by leader personalities as well as the build-up of and access to career-relevant networks and the specific support by means of further training measures give success-orientated women the chance to prepare in an optimal manner for their own career-entry and for their success.

Use Mentoring to achieve leading positions!

"With respect to the low proportion of women among the professorships and other leading positions we do explicitly support the Mentoring Programme as a success-oriented strategy to sustainably promote qualified female students and young female scientists at our university."
