Alok Kumar Singh is a master student at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India. He has been awarded a DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst) scholarship and currently he is a visiting scientist at ITO, Universität Stuttgart. He is working on "Nanometric displacement measurement using singularity of coherent light" as his master's thesis. Previously he has done a master in Physics at Indian Institute of technology Guwahati, India. His previous masters dissertation was on "Identification of safe hazardous plastics using laser induced breakdown spectroscopy". His current intrests include applied optics and spectroscopy.
