Biografie
Ahmad studied physics for his B.Sc. in Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS), in Zanjan, Iran. He did his B.Sc. project in the Laser Radar (Lidar) lab of the Optics group at IASBS. Then he moved to Canada and received his M.Sc. from the Physics Department at the University of New Brunswick (UNB) in August 2008. He did his master thesis on Laser Spectroscopy of metal monoacetylides in the UNB Laser Laboratory.

After finishing his M.Sc., he received a research fellowship from the Max Planck Institute for Slid State Research, in Stuttgart, Germany. He joined the International Max Planck Research School for Advanced Materials, from September 2008 to August 2009. During this period he did research on the optical investigation of superconductors in a joint project with the Physics Department of Stuttgart University.
Since September 2009, he has joined the Coherent Measurement Technique group at our institute, ITO. Currently, he is doing research on high resolution  Digital Holographic microscopy for nano-metrology and biological applications.
