Fairs

The University of Stuttgart regularly presents its study programmes at education fairs in Germany and abroad. Moreover, they participate at a career fair once a year in the USA.

Young people interested in studying along with parents and teachers can get into dialogues at national education fairs with representatives of the Central Student Advisory Service in order to find out all the details about subjects, qualifications as well as all questions related to studying. Representatives from the faculties are often present at the University of Stuttgart’s stand – often with an exhibit – to answer specialist questions from the viewpoint of the lecturers.

Internationally the focus of the University of Stuttgart is, on the one hand, on selected postgraduate fairs by Gate Germany (DAAD), where programmes taught in English in particular are presented. On the other hand the target group of the junior researchers has also been targeted since 2007 when the question at the MIT European Career Fair under the motto "Research in Germany - Land of Ideas" is about career opportunities for doctoral students as well as those having been awarded their doctorates.
