   Together with the archaeologists Hilda Pegtrie & Flinders Petrie shw worked in Egypt, taking on the administrative role of running the excavations camp and ensuring that finds were catalogued correctly. She worked at excavations at Abydos, Saqqara, Serabit el-Khadim, and El Shatt as well as at the temple of King Seti.
