   B. A. A. was an American photographer best known for her portraits of between-the-wars 20th-century cultural figures, New York City photographs of architecture and urban design of the 1930s, and science interpretation in the 1940s–1960s. She also founded the corporation, "House of Photography," from 1947–1959, to develop, promote and sell some of her inventions.
