What a wonder what a joy... or it seems to be still frosty
Some of them also enjoy the sunshine...don't they ?

1999 GPS Project: Mapping an archaeological site
Satellite geodesy does not only take place in lecture-halls, but also comprises
intensive practical studies. These studies always focus upon a practical project. Since 1999,
in cooperation with the Landesdenkmalamt (Office for national monuments), the celtic hill grave fields in Baden-Württemberg
are mapped with real-time GPS. Despite the bad weather, the practical studies can usually be carried out successfully.
